¼ Inch Jumping target assembly instructions. (both standard and AR 500)
- Pull out of box, you should have 2 pieces each ½ of the steel target… it should look like this…
- In the center there is a cutout just insert the 2 halves together in the cutout and they will fit pretty snug. Square them either by eyeball or use a small square. Tack weld in a couple spots so that when you weld it does not warp and pull it out of square.
- Now you may weld the target together… please be ware the more you weld and the hotter you weld it puts more heat into the metal and changes it slightly to maintain steel integrity and resistance to bullets weld half let it cool weld the other half to limit heat into the metal. Your finished product should look like this….

**** intended for experienced or entry level welders but please wear appropriate protective gear when welding including a welding helmet of at least shade 10 to protect your eyes. Also wear gloves to protect your hands as welded material gets very hot.
***PLEASE READ OTHER PAPERWORK THAT COMES IN THE BOX REGARDING SAEFTY USING PRODUCTS
Painting Instructions
- Gun Targets may or may not be painted based upon customer’s preference, as the target is shot it will take off paint anyways. If you do choose to paint Targets it is recommended that you lightly sand product before painting as it will help paint stick to product. It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
- Art work and other materials…. Sand material lightly, then make sure the surface is clean of dust and debris (can use liquor with a rag or some sort of cleaner like that). It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
