Clay Target Instructions

 

  1. Clay target brackets are simple to install. Please read all literature that comes in the packet for safety and proper use of our products.
  2. Take Clay target bracket and Install on 2x4 with flat part on 2x4 and the V shape of the bracket pointing up as seen in the picture.
  3. Make sure to Install the bolt that holds the bracket to the 2x4 on the back side as to not shoot and damage it or cause a ricochet. (it works really well but can be done several different ways. Use a electric impact driver or something of that sort, or a ratchet, but electric impact driver works best with a 7/16s socket.) Screw the bolt in the hole of the bracket to the 2x4 from the back side to attach the bracket to the 2x4.

Painting Instructions

 

  1. Gun Targets may or may not be painted based upon customer’s preference, as the target is shot it will take off paint anyways. If you do choose to paint Targets it is recommended that you lightly sand product before painting as it will help paint stick to product. It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
  2. Art work and other materials…. Sand material lightly, then make sure the surface is clean of dust and debris (can use liquor with a rag or some sort of cleaner like that). It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
