Step 1: Recommended to remove trailing arms but may be skillfully done on the vehicle with good experience welding (if done on vehicle disconnect battery) . Block tires, Jack up vehicle, put on jack stands, remove tires and inspect arms for cracking. If cracked continue to step 2 if not cracked continue to step 3.

Step 2: If arms are cracked sand, grind and repair by welding the cracks. Grind down areas where gusset parts will sit so they may sit flat on the frame of the trailing arms.

Step 3: Using protection equipment, and grinder sand the trailing arm areas to be clean of all paint, dirt, and debree. It may also help to use a torch to slightly heat the arms and use a wire wheel to strip paint.

Step 4: part #2 (part with one hole in the center and 2 cut lines in it) must be slightly bent to fit the curves in the trailing arm. Works best with cresent wrench and vice.

Step 5: Starting at the bottom of the arm and part #1, center the part to line up with all the holes so that bolts can go threw the holes in part #1 and line up with the threaded holes in the arm. Tack weld the part in place.

Step 6: Moving around the arm work your way around with part 2 to part 7 tack welding each part in place as to fit as seen in the following pictures. It is possible that couple parts may or may not need a little sanding to fit due to small variations in each trailing arm.

Step 7: Fully weld all parts into place including the 2 lines cut into part #2. Be careful as parts will be very hot, let cool. After welding into place Paint parts with desired paint or take in for powder coating.
