Conduit DIY Tube Brackets

  1. Take brackets out to assemble.
  2. Take a conduit and cut the conduit to desired length for the cross section that the end brackets will fit over.
  3. Assembly
    1. If you ordered the whole kit… take the brackets and insert into the end of the 1 inch tube or conduit that has the hole in it. Next insert the ¼ inch keep pin, you may have to wiggle things around to get everything to line up. At this point you should have a A. Do this to both sides then slide onto the end of your conduit and you have a stand. This may be broken down after each use for easy transport. Please note there is some play in the conduit bracket part to allow for stability. Your finished assembly should look like a A frame.
    2. If you ordered just the brackets…. You will need 4 1” tubes either .095 wall or .120 wall tubes or conduit to insert the brackets into. If you choose to drill hole threw the tube with a 9/32’s drill bit 1 inch from the end of the tube. This will allow the ¼ inch snap pins to quickly assemble or disassemble the stand. At this point you should have a A frame. Do this to both sides then slide onto the end of your conduit and you have a stand. This may be broken down after each use for easy transport. Please note there is some play in the conduit bracket part to allow for stability. Your finished assembly should look like a A frame.
    3. If you are wanting to paint it please read the painting instructions

Painting Instructions

  1. Gun Targets may or may not be painted based upon customer’s preference, as the target is shot it will take off paint anyways. If you do choose to paint Targets it is recommended that you lightly sand product before painting as it will help paint stick to product. It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
  2. Art work and other materials…. Sand material lightly, then make sure the surface is clean of dust and debris (can use liquor with a rag or some sort of cleaner like that). It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
