Body Panel Tab 1/4 -20
Included in this kit:
Ordered number of Body Panel Tabs ¼-20
Tools and equipment:
-eye protection glasses or face shield, hearing protection, and suggested leather gloves and anything else for safety
-Grinder with flap wheel preferred
-Welding Helmet
-ratchet with 7/16 socket and 7/16 wrench
Installation:
- Break body tabs apart by just lightly holding and twisting.
- Stick tab in vice for safety
- Sand off small remaining amount of connecting material with grinder with a flap wheel or sanding wheel attachment
- Position tab in desired location of project and weld. Let fully cool and try not to get too hot.
- Attach desired accessory to tab with ¼-20 bolts. ***Do not overtighten*** as damage to the nutsert can occur. Lightly snug bolt with lock washer it does not take a lot of torque on a ¼ in bolt to fasten something to stay.
