3/8 AR500 T Post Hanger

Included in this kit

-          3/8 AR500 T post Hangers (depending the number you ordered)

Tools and equipment:

1-      eye protection glasses or face shield, hearing protection

2-      Leather gloves for protection

3-      Optional Grinder with grinding wheel, or sanding wheel

4-      Optional Drill or grinder to make hole in your target slightly larger

Installation:

  1. The 3/8 T post hangers require a .6 to .65 inch hole for the steel target which is around a 5/8 inch hole as stated on the listings. If your targets have a pretty standard ½ (.50 inch) hole it may be necessary to either drill/grind the hole out on your target a little or else use a small grinder or sanding wheel to sand off the sharp edges of the hook portion of the hanger till it will fit and slide good inside of the hole on your target

Never shoot closer than 50 yards with a rifle, or 10 with a pistol

Recommended minimum 100 yards for most rifles

Keep Bullet speed 3000 fps or below at target

Always use hearing and eye protection with all targets, this includes spectators

Never use green tip or armor piercing rounds

Always use a safe back stop for all targets in case of missed targets

Know your surroundings for all safety measures!!!

Painting Instructions

  1. Gun Targets may or may not be painted based upon customer’s preference, as the target is shot it will take off paint anyways. If you do choose to paint Targets it is recommended that you lightly sand product before painting as it will help paint stick to product. It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
  2. Art work and other materials…. Sand material lightly, then make sure the surface is clean of dust and debris (can use liquor with a rag or some sort of cleaner like that). It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
