2x4 DIY Bracket Assembly (PICTURES MAY VARY AS WE HAVE UPDATED DESIGN)
Installation and painting is the same
- Take the 2 brackets and 16 ¼ inch bolts out.
- Cut 2x4’s (either 2x4’s you have or purchase from a local store) to desired length for the legs.
- Lay on the ground or on a work bench. (see photos) Lay the bracket on the 2x4 and kind of center it but leave adequate room for the cross 2x4 to be able to slide threw.
- Take the ¼ bolts and screw them threw the bracket and into the 2x4 until tight. . (Use a electric impact driver or something of that sort, or a ratchet, but electric impact driver works best with a 7/16s socket.) (see photo)
- Proceed to perform same task for the other bracket
- Lift up both end brackets and slide onto the end of your cross 2x4 leaving the brackets and a slight angle as to hold the assembled unit up without falling over. (see photos for finished products appearance.)

Painting Instructions
- Gun Targets may or may not be painted based upon customer’s preference, as the target is shot it will take off paint anyways. If you do choose to paint Targets it is recommended that you lightly sand product before painting as it will help paint stick to product. It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
- Art work and other materials…. Sand material lightly, then make sure the surface is clean of dust and debris (can use liquor with a rag or some sort of cleaner like that). It is best to lightly do a coat of spray paint first let it become a little tacky then do a couple more little heavier coats and let dry. For best results it is recommended to paint products around 70 degrees or in a warm environment.
